Il regista inglese torna dietro la macchina da presa all\u2019interno del genere che l\u2019ha reso famoso, il<em> caper crime<\/em> (o <em>gangster comedy<\/em>), dimostrando, come sempre, di sapersi muovere con maestria ed eleganza tra gli stilemi del canone. <i>The Gentlemen<\/i> \u00e8 un film in cui la classe incontra il grossolano, raccontando vicende di criminali imperfetti che, nel tentativo di fare le scarpe al pesce pi\u00f9 grosso, innescano una serie rocambolesca di eventi e colpi di scena.<\/p>\n<p>E non sorprende, con una sceneggiatura firmata dallo stesso Ritchie, che la messa in scena si trasformi in arte della meta-narrazione. Senza mai prendersi troppo sul serio, questa versione pi\u00f9 elegante di\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Snatch_-_Lo_strappo\"><i>Snatch<\/i><\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lock_%26_Stock_-_Pazzi_scatenati\"><i>Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels<\/i><\/a> costruisce un meccanismo autoreferenziale che le consente di essere politicamente scorretta, stereotipizzando i personaggi in modo provocatorio e parodistico, scherzando sul 35 mm e sulle produzioni Miramax.<\/p>\n<p>La scrittura filmica \u00e8 raffinata e sottile, a cominciare dai titoli d&#8217;apertura. L\u2019espediente narrativo con cui la vicenda \u00e8 raccontata contribuisce a rendere l\u2019intreccio avvincente anche se, in alcuni momenti, fatica ad integrare le sotto trame, sporcando l\u2019incedere della narrazione. Ci\u00f2 nonostante il piacere della visione \u00e8 garantito da un cast che, apparentemente mal assortito, fa scintille.<\/p>\n<p>Grant \u00e8 superlativo nel dare vita al suo squallido investigatore privato e aspirante sceneggiatore, Farrell porta in scena un fantastico piccolo mobster alle prese con il suo mucchio selvaggio di \u201cToddlers\u201d e sentire il malavitoso McConaughey che ordina una pinta e un uovo in salamoia, con il suo accento texano, fa sbellicare.\u00a0Chiudono la miscela esplosiva Dockery e Hunnam, l\u2019una elegante sboccata imprenditrice di un garage tutto al femminile, l\u2019altro braccio destro di McConaughey, favoloso con quegli occhiali da gufo, che tra i suoi modi composti e qualche man rovescio, ricorda lo zio Archy di Mark Strong in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/RocknRolla\"><i>RocknRolla<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><i>The Gentlemen<\/i>\u00a0\u00e8 una ritorno alla forma che ha tutta l\u2019impressione di essere un distillato della filmografia di Ritchie; come uno scotch di Islay, robusto e torbato, con un retrogusto di salsedine un po\u2019 troppo forte.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<!-- \/wp:post-content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;3.22&#8243;][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;3.25&#8243; background_size=&#8221;initial&#8221; background_position=&#8221;top_left&#8221; background_repeat=&#8221;repeat&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;3.25&#8243; custom_padding=&#8221;|||&#8221; custom_padding__hover=&#8221;|||&#8221;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Post&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.1&#8243; header_4_font=&#8221;Georgia|700|||||||&#8221; header_4_font_size=&#8221;32px&#8221; header_4_line_height=&#8221;1.3em&#8221; background_size=&#8221;initial&#8221; background_position=&#8221;top_left&#8221; background_repeat=&#8221;repeat&#8221;] Raffinata e sporca gangster comedy che trasforma la messa in scena in arte della narrazione.
