Mark Romanek (<a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/One_Hour_Photo\"><i>One hour photo<\/i><\/a>) porta in scena la vicenda raccontata nell\u2019omonimo romanzo di <a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Non_lasciarmi\">Kazuo Ishiguro<\/a>, conferendo a questo slow-burn drama una patina di lirica nostalgia in cui l\u2019accettazione e la speranza prevalgono su qualsiasi tentativo di ribellione.<\/p>\n<p>Ci\u00f2 che inquieta \u00e8 certamente la visione spaventosa di un prossimo futuro \u2013 reso tangibile dal trattarlo come recente passato \u2013 in cui la norma sociale prevede la creazione della vita allo scopo di produrre parti di ricambio. Queste nuove entit\u00e0 non vengono percepite nel loro insieme di persone, ma unicamente come somma di organi da espiantare. La naturalit\u00e0 con cui il potere, socialmente stabilito, viene esercitato dalle istituzioni educative su questi bambini, oppressi e senza futuro, sconvolge.<\/p>\n<p>Tuttavia l\u2019incapacit\u00e0 dei protagonisti di mettere in discussione il proprio destino risulta in un letargo emotivo pi\u00f9 che un sentimento represso.\u00a0A dispetto di uno stile visivo semplice ed elegante, si avverte la mancanza di una tensione drammatica che rende difficile connettersi ai personaggi e all\u2019angoscia della loro situazione. <em>Never let me go<\/em> non coinvolge.<\/p>\n<p>Nemmeno la notevole performance di Cary Mulligan, Keira Knightly e Andrew Garfield aiuta nel processo di identificazione con l\u2019agghiacciante rappresentazione di questa crudele realt\u00e0 alternativa. Complice una sceneggiatura piatta e non all\u2019altezza che decide di lasciare sullo sfondo alcune spinose questioni morali, rivestendo tutto con un velo di fatalismo.
